T-town Legends

2002

T-town Legends is a collaborative project between Kyla Mallett and Allison Hardy, in which the two artists conducted audio interviews based on local suburban “legends” in their home town of Tsawwassen. In response to the repetitive nature of the suburban tales, they made location photographs to correspond with the stories. This work was an early investigation into suburban youth culture, intersecting with aural traditions of storytelling.
