In the Basement

This series of photographs was taken in an abandoned teenage girl’s basement bedroom. The photographs showcase the layers of bedroom graffiti and poetry; the work becomes a visual manifestation of the desires of youth, and of the ‘bedroom culture’ of the adolescent girl.
